I custom-made this hat for my friend Ivonne Carley. She’s calling it Totoro and she’s letting me share the pattern – enjoy!

Cascade Yarns Baby Alpaca Chunky[100% baby alpaca; 100g/108yds] Black; 2 skeins

GAUGE
16 sts = 4 inches in reverse stockinette

NEEDLES
Set of five US size 9 (5.5mm) double-point needles
(Or size needed to obtain gauge)

MATERIALS
US Size I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook
Marker or safety pin

SIZE
One Size (Adult Medium)

FINISHED MEASUREMENT
Approx. 19 inches in circumference (very stretchy)
